Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi password can be found in the welcome message in the apartment.
Grocery Stores
ICA is located in central Åre and also offers home delivery and pickup lockers.
ICA ToGo, which stocks essential basics, is located in the basement of Tegetornet.
COOP also has a store in central Åre.
Sonos
To use Sonos, connect your mobile device to the Wi-Fi. Install the “Sonos” app from Google Play or the App Store. The first time you open the app, choose to connect to a new system and follow the setup guide.
Using the Sonos app, you can start radio stations and control the volume. To play music from, for example, Spotify, open Spotify on your phone and select the Sonos device as the playback option.
Fireplace
Firewood for the fireplace should be stored in the compartment beneath it. If you use the firewood, please make sure to buy more before you leave.
Here’s how to light the fire: Reduce the negative pressure in the house by opening the patio door slightly. Light the fire, but don’t close the fireplace door completely. Once the fire has caught, close both the door and the patio door. The damper at the front of the fireplace works best when fully open (far right position).
Snow Removal
The parking space and the front of the house are plowed regularly, but the stairs and veranda need to be shoveled by you.
A snow shovel and broom can be found in the ski storage or along the house wall.
Parking
Parking should be done at a 45-degree angle on the street above the house. This is to avoid obstructing traffic on Tegefjällsvägen.
The parking space belonging to the apartment is marked with a "B" and has an engine heater outlet (see map).
Unfortunately, charging of electric cars is not possible here – the nearest EV charging station is located below the Tegeliften.
TV
The TV is a smart TV with built-in apps for SVT, TV4, Netflix, Max, Disney+, and more.
To use any of the streaming services (except SVT), you need to log in with your own account. Don’t forget to log out before you leave.
The TV supports both Chromecast and Apple AirPlay.
There is also an extra HDMI cable behind the TV stand if you want to connect your own device.
Waste
Bins for household waste and recycling are available in several locations throughout the area.
The closest one is on a side street up on Blåbäret.
Coffee Maker
The Moccamaster coffee maker uses filter size 1×4.
Bed Linen/Towels
You need to bring your own bed linen and towels, including a dish towel.
Dishwasher
There is a dishwasher in the apartment, but no dishwasher detergent is provided. Please bring your own.
Before using it, you need to turn on the water using the valve next to the faucet.
Door Lock
To lock the door, you must first lift the handle upwards. Only then can you turn the lock cylinder.
Parking
Parking must be done in the designated spot – see map.
Park at a 45-degree angle to avoid obstructing traffic on Tegefjällsvägen.
